At Elf Owl, we believe that young children don’t need loud sounds, flashing lights, or overstimulation to stay engaged. In fact, those things can be distracting. Our instructional designers create content that is calm, focused, and thoughtfully paced—designed to help children tune in, not zone out.

Our programs are designed for children ages 3 to 6. Whether your child is attending preschool, kindergarten, or just about to start school, Elf Owl is built to support this magical window of early childhood.

Our hands-on, play-based activities and guided lessons are thoughtfully crafted by early childhood education experts to meet the developmental needs of ages 3-6 - nurturing creativity, confidence and curiosity every step of the way. 

A calming tone supports focus, nurtures creativity, and helps children feel grounded. By reducing overstimulation, we create space for real learning and genuine curiosity—allowing children to be fully present and engaged.

Our courses are interactive and designed specifically for preschoolers. We guide their attention without overwhelming their senses, helping them absorb, process, and truly enjoy what they’re learning—while leaving room for their imagination to lead the way.

We’re here for the evenings, weekends, school breaks—anytime you want to connect and play with your child in a way that’s fun and educational. We take the guesswork out of what to do next by giving you developmentally appropriate activities and ideas built by preschool experts.

The online portion of each program is designed to take between 20 minutes to 1 hour, depending on how deeply you explore each section, how long your child spends on knowledge checks, and how much discussion or play you build around the content. The course can always be reset to the beginning, so your child can go through it again and again—often discovering something new each time. And don’t worry about losing access—each course remains available for 12 months from its release date, so you’ll have the full library to revisit any time throughout the year.

You don’t need to be a teacher. That’s the beauty of Elf Owl. We’ve bundled up the songs, stories, crafts, and games teachers use every day—so you can just show up, press play, open your box, and enjoy the moment with your child.

Hollow Time is our weekly live session - a playful, interactive webinar for kids! Each week, your child (and you!) is invited to join our expert teachers for a live, 30-minute session filled with songs, stories, games and guided activities. It's screen time you'll feel good about - designed to deepen their learning, spark join, and build a sense of curiosity. 

Hollow Time is included in Premium plans only. However, we also offer drop-in Hollow Time slots! Be on the lookout for the link we'll send over with available schedules and reservation details after you sign up.

Each month, you’ll receive access to a new online course that ties into that month’s theme. As soon as the course is available on our platform, we’ll send you a notification so you can dive in and start exploring with your child.

Every month has a theme that ties everything together. The online lessons introduce concepts in a gentle, engaging way—and then the activity sets bring those same ideas to life through crafts, games, cooking, nature play, and more. It’s a connected experience that makes learning feel seamless and fun.

We’ve got you covered. Every activity includes everything you need. For recipes included, we'll send you a note ahead of time so you can grab the few ingredients we suggest using at any time. But we also include variations to adapt each acivity—so whether you’re in a city apartment, a suburban backyard, or somewhere in between, your child can fully participate. We also let you know why each activity matters—whether it builds early literacy, supports fine motor skills, encourages imaginative play, or simply helps get your child outside.

For younger children, yes—you’ll go through the course together. That’s part of the magic: shared discovery and connection. As your child gets older and more independent, they may begin to navigate parts of the course on their own.

Of course. In today's world, we know screens are part of life. That’s why our digital content is designed to be interactive, age-appropriate, and grounded in real learning. It draws your child in without overwhelming them, and then it nudges them off-screen—encouraging them to keep exploring through the hands-on activities you’ll do together. It’s screen time that sets the stage for real-world play and connection.

Your themed activity set will ship out each month alongside the release of your online course. It’s timed to make sure everything lines up for a fun, connected learning experience—online and off.
